Simply hand-thread barbed wire or tension wire through nut and bolt of brace band. Then thread the loose end of wire into the whole in the end of the ezzytwist  and crank, or turn device with handle, wind up wire on shaft until tight. Then unfold the wire back against itself and hand wrap to stretched portion of barbed wire, or tension wire. If treated well this tool will last for years .
